Hello there. I am an egg donor with DFW fertility. I am 23 years old. I recently graduated college and I've lived in the DFW area. My whole life. There were a few different factors that motivated me to look into the egg donation process. For one, my mom had to go through IVF to have me and my little sister.
So that medical process has always been something very special to me, and I wanted to give back to that science. Another thing that motivated me to donate eggs was the idea of being able to help a couple start a family. And lastly, donating eggs is a great way to invest in your own future. Not only is there financial compensation for going through the egg donating process, they also check the levels of your hormones.
There's genetic testing all types of stuff that is very helpful to know and helpful to go through for if you decide to have your own family one day. DFW fertility stood out to me over other clinics because they had overwhelmed only positive reviews of other egg donors experiences. And what I liked about them was as soon as I applied for the process, there was very clear communication and I felt like they were interested in having me, and I felt well informed right from the beginning.
So that made me feel very comfortable and very excited for this new process. Ever since my first consultation, DFW fertility has been very welcoming, very encouraging and there was never a part in the process where they couldn't answer a question that I have. I felt very comfortable and like I could reach out anytime I was confused or nervous, and they're just there for you the whole time, which was really important to me as an egg donor.
Something I really appreciated about DFW fertility is their support is consistent throughout the whole process, through their screening and through your injections. Every checkup all the way up to the egg retrieval. They're there for you, and they want you to feel empowered and like you know what is going on. You're never left in the dark. And I always appreciated that.
If I had any question at all, I could just give them a call or shoot them an email. And they cared about getting back to me and making sure that I felt safe and cared for. I remember the night before my first retrieval, I received a phone call from the anesthesiologist just calling to ask how I was feeling.
We go over any instructions or questions that I had, and that really helped me feel a lot less nervous about the whole situation. Once I arrived for my procedure in the morning, they were there with me every step of the way, always asking, how are you feeling? How are you doing? Anything I can do for you right now.
So it was good to know that they had my back no matter what. After my first egg donation, I had this overwhelming sense of fulfillment and joy and I felt very empowered. It felt very special to be able to gift an egg or eggs that would have come out of my body anyways as waste, and give those eggs to a person that's trying to start a family.
I have never felt so accomplished and proud of myself, and it is an amazing feeling to know that you can give someone that type of gift after your first donation. The support does not help there. DFW fertility is by your side to make sure that you are healing okay, that you have any medication that you need. They answer any questions you have and you know that they're still there for you all the way through until you're completely healed.
If you're looking to donate eggs for the first time, I recommend DFW fertility. You will feel cared for. You're going to feel encouraged, and you're going to be supported all the way through. I really believe that donating eggs is one of the most amazing and special gifts that you can put out into the world. If you are somebody that is interested and donating eggs, but maybe you're a little on the fence, reach out to people you can call DFW fertility with any questions you have.
You can reach out to other donors to ask them about their personal experiences. It is an amazing experience and if you're interested, even if you are on the fence, you should apply and check it out. In my personal experience, donating eggs is the single most empowering thing I've ever done. I love the feeling of being able to help a fellow woman and be there for womankind, and you feel so huge being able to help a family achieve a life.
It is a really special thing, and I'm so glad that I've been able to do this process, and that I had such an amazing clinic to be there for me. Along the way, again, I cannot recommend DFW Fertility enough. They are the best.
